 How to Price Your Items Step One: Make sure that your items are clean, and smell fresh (no smoke or mildew odor) and that no pieces are missing. PUT CLOTHING ON HANGERS. Step Two: Price your items. Use only 3x5 cards. Write on the card a description of article, your consignor number, size, price. Have the hanger facing to the left, and place the index card on teh right shoulder (your right when you are facing the garment). Step Three: Tape card to large items Step Four: Place small toys or toys with many pieces in a clear plastic bag and tape the card to the bag. Step Five: Place a red dot next to the prices of items that you do not want to be sold for half price on our half-price day. We suggest that you ask for 20-30% of what you originally paid for an item, though you are free to price your items as high or as low as you wish. Note: Hangers will not be returned to you |
